| The Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) is monitoring the evolving 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We have put in place precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of all ROMM visitors, such as increasing the frequency of cleaning at our premises. Our staff are also required to take their temperature twice daily. We urge all visitors to be socially responsible, maintain good personal hygiene, and follow advisories issued by the Ministry of Health. For enquiries, please call 6337 0207. |

| The Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) is monitoring the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) situation. We have put in place precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of all visitors to ROMM.
Effective 19 February 2020, we request that each marrying couple bring up to 5 accompanying guests for solemnisations at ROMM.
Public are advised to use ROMM e-Services, call our hotline at 6337 0207 or email us at mccy_ROMM@mccy.gov.sg for enquiries and application assistance. |

| For visitors of ROMM, please remain vigilant and adopt good personal hygiene practices.
- Wash hands frequently with soap
- Wear a mask if you have a cough or runny nose
- Cover your mouth with a tissue paper when coughing or sneezing
- See a doctor if you are unwell.

| Launch of Bersamamu wef 1 Jul 2019 |

| From 1 July 2019, Muslim couples who register for solemnisation will receive more support in their journey towards a strong marriage. ROMM has launched Bersamamu, where solemnisers (Naib Kadi or Kadi) will befriend and support soon-to-wed Muslim couples as they prepare for marriage. The relationship will continue into the first 2 years of marriage, where couples can choose to meet regularly with their Naib Kadi or Kadi for practical advice and tips to build a strong marriage. |

Kami telah mengambil langkah berhati-hati untuk melindungi para pengunjung ke ROMM seperti meningkatkan bilangan pembersihan di tempat kami. Staf ROMM juga dikehendaki mengambil suhu badan mereka 2 kali dalam sehari.
Mari kita amalkan tanggungjawab sosial, senantiasa menjaga kebersihan diri dan mematuhi nasihat yang diumumkan Kementerian Kesihatan

Kami telah mengambil langkah berhati-hati untuk melindungi semua pengunjung ke ROMM.
Bermula 19 Februari 2020, hanya 5 tetamu yang dibenarkan untuk setiap pasangan bagi pernikahan di ROMM.

| Choosing a Solemniser |
|
| For solemnisations held at private venues, couples may choose a volunteer Kadi or Naib Kadi to be the solemniser.
For solemnisations held at ROMM, either the Registrar or Deputy Registrar of ROMM, volunteer Kadi or a Naib Kadi can conduct the solemnisation. |

| Expunction of Portion of Canning Rise |
|
| From Thursday, 3 January 2019, at 12 am, a portion of the one-way Canning Rise will be expunged to create seamless connectivity between Fort Canning Park's Farquhar Garden and Fort Canning Green, and a pedestrian friendly environment within the park. The portion of the road to be expunged starts after the Registry of Marriages to before the National Museum of Singapore's coach drop off bay. |

| ROMM e-Services via CitizenConnect Centres |
|
| Couples can use ROMM e-Services from the comfort of their home and at a time convenient to them.
Couples who need to be assisted on e-Services, may approach any of the CitizenConnect Centres (CCCs) nearest to them or go to the e-Kiosks at ROMM. The CCCs are located at selected Community Centres islandwide.
